Dudamel conducts SB50 halftime show!

Gustavo Dudamel (remember the crazy-haired conductor whom you've seen conducting Also Sprach Zarathustra when we were learning about timpani and crash cymbals?) is conducting the Youth Orchestra Los Angeles for part of the Super Bowl 50 halftime show! He said that "this is a wonderful honor and an extraordinary showcase for YOLA, as well as a tribute to youth orchestras worldwide. When we play, it will be for the youth of the world so they can be inspired to create both a better life for themselves and a better future."

How awesome is this?! You've seen this guy conduct before. Stick around for the halftime show next Sunday (February 7)!
